Fiona
Breast Cancer
stage one

Well I'm 14 now, but when I was 8 my mum died of cancer. At first she was really relieved to know what it was and from then on she really took everyday for a miracle and had the time of her life. A few months went past, the scans now showed the cancer had moved from her breasts to her glands and liver etc. There was nothing they could do, so we just took it a step at a time and helped her as much as possible. No one can ever replace your mother no matter how kind, generous or friendly they are, but they can be your friend. Don't ever forget a relative if they pass away because they're not gone ...just waiting for you in the next room. And to keep you going they fill your heart with all the happy memories you shared. I know how to appreciate the world and people now. The saying is soooooo true....."you don't know what you've got until its gone" Well sorry if that's a bit depressing but hopefully it will help someone out there- and I want the whole world to know just how great my mum was. Love Fiona -x-
