Gina
breast cancer
stage one

Hello. It has been 2 years today, that I had my left breast removed. I discovered the lump while taking a shower. BC did not involve the lymph nodes, but it was especially fast growing and nasty, they said.

After surgery, I took chemo. My hair fell out, but that was OK and I covered my eyes with Sunglasses when I went out, mostly in the day, till my hair grew back. I had very thin and fine hair before chemo, it came back curly and now it is fine and limp again! So I wear a darling Paula Young Wig and it looks sooo much better than my real hair. It's all in the attitude!

The bone scans scare me. But I have changed my diet, and try to eliminate most of the sugar and fat foods. I thank God for my recovery and realized that losing a breast isn't the worst thing that can happen to a person in life. I am a better person because of my experience with Cancer. The nicest people I have ever met in this world, were all at the Oncologists office, either working there or getting treatment. I now appreciate this life more but do tend to spoil myself..go figure! But honestly, I do feel more energetic and healthy after changing my diet. God Bless all of you..
