breast cancer
stage one
I had been experiencing needle-like pain on my left breast and told my
primary physician about it. Went to see him many times and he ruled it
as heartburn. My sister was diagnosed with breast cancer last year and
told him so. I went for a mammogram last February and they found a denseness
in my left breast, but dismissed it as normal. By March, I found a lump
and because my doctor assured me 100% that I did not have breast cancer,
I did not go for a check up. By the end of June, I could not take it off
my mind so I went to see him and he asked me where I have been all this
time? Told him I was in his office telling him about my problem. He sent
me for a mammogram and they found the lump, but still insist it is nothing
to worry about. They told me to go home, so I got mad and told them that
I was having pain that is when they asked me if I want to see a specialist.
The specialist did a physical exam and told me the same thing, that it
is just a cyst, but will send me for a sonogram. I told him I want a biopsy
done and take out the lump because it did not belong to my body. He did
the incision biopsy on a Friday and told me to come back on a Tuesday
just for a follow up. That is when he found out that the lump was malignant.
I cried with my husband, did not know what to say, did not believe what
I just heard and hated the doctor who told me that I did not have breast
cancer. I found out from other resources, that my doctor is an idiot according
to some of the patients that had been there and wanted me to file a complaint
against him not because of me, but to protect the other women. The damage
is done and he cannot bring it back. My advice to all of you women out
there, is do not believe everything the doctor tells you. You have to
fight for your right. After all, it is your body and your body and you
are the one who knows if something is wrong with you. If anybody around
the Fort Worth area want to know who the doctor is….
GOD BLESS US ALL
