That's why it is extremely important to keep the lines of
communication open and find emotional support by making connections with networks of "people like me." In other words, kids learn from other kids, spouses learn from other spouses; women learn from other women. It is believed that when
families get "connected" to this type of support and achieve emotional wellness, they are better able to focus on treatment.
